This 11 km hike from Doussard is of medium difficulty. It takes one day or half a day, in about 4 hours. It is a round trip, not a loop. A great hike to start early to easily park your vehicle in the parking lot of the Col de la Forclaz. With 16 km to go, she asks that we devote a whole day preferably. Allow about 6 hours of walking. From the chalet de la Forclaz, head first to the nearby paragliding take-off area, then on the path which goes up to the Col de la Cochette. Then head for the Rocher de Roux, with a beautiful view of the lake. The hike continues to the chalet de l'Aulp, the chalet des Crottes, then the col des Nantets. The tip of Talamarche is in sight, just follow the small path that goes up there. The return is by the same route.
