One of the most popular hikes from Annecy that allows you to reach a beautiful balcony overlooking Lake Annecy after a climb in the forest, before continuing on a ridge trail. The Aravis range and the Mont Blanc massif are also visible.
From the town of Talloires, on the west shore of Lake Annecy, you will walk in the forest to the waterfall of Angon, a site very popular with canyoning enthusiasts. You will see beautiful waterfalls, and the more adventurous can cool off in the natural pools. If the view is clear, you will see La Tournette and the Dents de Lanfont.
The starting point of this beautiful hike is located on the parking lot of the Talloires golf course. Follow the sign "Roc Tower" and enter the undergrowth. You will appreciate the freshness while climbing. You will have first beautiful views of Annecy and Menthon-Saint-Bernard, then, a little higher, from the belvedere, Talloires and Commons on the other side of the lake (Duingt, Doussard).
