An open-air hotel ideal for off-season stays
Outside the summer season, the L’Idéal campsite’s aquatic area takes off its playground costume and dons that of a relaxation bubble. Couples can cool off in peace and quiet, and swimming enthusiasts can perfect their backstroke under the Savoyard sun.
Take advantage of a mild day to relax in the bubble bath between two visits, or in the indoor heated swimming pool, which guarantees bathing at optimum temperature all year round (the pools are open from May to September).
Spring and autumn can be very pleasant seasons, allowing you to sunbathe on the solarium as you would in summer, while enjoying the peace and quiet of the campsite.
Off-season activities and leisure
Have fun
Your children can play tennis in the playground, play a game of soccer or take part in a mini-golf competition with their new friends on the multi-sports field.
Restore yourself
If the summer barbecue you love so much isn’t possible during your low-season stay, Camping L’Idéal offers you other alternatives for your delicious meals. You can buy fresh bread, pastries and express groceries at the grocery store. If you’re not in the mood to cook in your luxury accommodation, the bar restaurant invites you to enjoy pizzas and delicious dishes.
Take a stroll
It couldn’t be easier: rent your bikes, mountain bikes and children’s equipment directly from the campsite reception desk, and set off on one of France’s oldest greenways. Just 500m from the campsite, you can easily travel 35km and discover an exceptional environment… Lake Annecy, its beaches and Savoyard villages.
Cycling is child’s play and lasts a long time!
Visits & discoveries of the region
Although Lake Annecy is particularly busy in summer, this fabulous body of water loses none of its charm in the off-season. From a fishing trip to a pedal-boat ride for two, it offers many possibilities for couples looking for a change of scenery and for slow-travel enthusiasts. Whatever the weather outside, you’ll enjoy visiting its main monuments (Menthon and Montrottier castles, Saint-Pierre cathedral, Isle palace, Novel manor house, Saint-Maurice church), getting lost in the PACCARD bell museum, or the illusion museum and traboules on Lyon. You can also take a spa treatment in Evian, Megève, Chamonix or Thonon-les-Bains, hike the trails of La Tournette, Les Dents de Lanfon, Le Taillefer and many more, or discover the joys of skiing in one of Haute-Savoie’s main ski resorts (La Sambuy, ChamonixMegève, La ClusazMorzine).
