My Reservation
How can I make a reservation?

– By calling our reservation center
Your reservation becomes definitive only after payment of the deposit of 30% of the stay, payable by credit card at the time of booking.
Please note that if you have not paid a deposit, your request is an option and not a reservation. This option will be valid for 7 days. If no deposit is paid within 7 days, the option will be cancelled.

Can I book several accommodations online?
- From our website, you can book as much or as little accommodation as you like.
- For requests for more than 5 accommodations, please contact us via the contact form.
- Please note: Each accommodation has a maximum capacity in terms of number of people, including babies. On arrival, the number of people may not exceed the capacity of the accommodation booked.
Can I choose my pitch?
When booking, you can indicate your wishes, the pitch number if you know the campsite, or specify the side-by-side choice in the “comments” field.
If the pitch is unavailable or incompatible with your wishes, the campsite will contact you to offer you another pitch.
How can I check that my reservation has been registered?
– If your booking has been successfully registered, you should have received a confirmation e-mail.
If you can’t find the confirmation e-mail
– Consult your “customer area” on our website www.campingideal.com, by clicking on “My Stays”
– Call our reservation center or contact us via our contact form.
MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION OF MY RESERVATION
How can I change my stay?
- If you would like to make any changes to your stay, please contact us by e-mail at contact@campingideal.com
- Depending on availability, we may or may not be able to modify your stay.
- No postponement will be accepted for the following season. For any refund, we will apply our General Terms and Conditions.
How can I cancel my stay?
For all cancellation requests, go to your Ideal campsite customer area, “My Stays” section and select your stay … BE CAREFUL before clicking on “Cancel my booking”.
What are the cancellation conditions?
– In the event of cancellation up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date
20% of the cost of the stay plus the booking fee will be retained by the campsite.
– In the event of cancellation 29 days or more before the scheduled arrival date, the total amount paid will be retained by the campsite.
If you have taken out cancellation insurance, you are subject to the “NEAT” cancellation conditions . We invite you to consult their conditions, after which you will need to contact them to open a cancellation file.
– You must INFORM US IN WRITING, either by post or by e-mail to contact@campingideal.com.
Do you refund unused services?
If your stay is interrupted or cut short (late arrival, early departure), you will not be entitled to a refund or reduction.
PAYMENT FOR MY STAY
When do I have to pay for my stay?
The balance must be paid at least 30 days before your arrival at the campsite.
How do I pay for my stay?

Payment by Chèques-Vacances is possible up to 30 days before the start date of your stay. Vacation vouchers must be sent within 7 days of booking.
By Chèque-Vacances Connect:
By following the instructions on your ANCV mobile application. Please note that the minimum amount for this payment method is €20.
You can also choose the amount you wish to use in Chèque-Vacances Connect. In this case, you will be asked to enter your credit card number to pay any additional amount before confirming payment.
Upon receipt of your payment, you will receive a confirmation email.
Can I pay for my stay with VACAF cheques?
Unfortunately, we do not accept VACAF cheques. Only credit cards, bank transfers, vacation vouchers and e-vacances (ANCV) are accepted.
THE CHILDREN
From what age are children looked after by activity leaders?
Our team of animators will take care of your child from the age of 4.
Please note that some activities require reservations, so places are limited. Even if your little blonde is bright and independent, it’s difficult to accept children under 4.
Sometimes, depending on the number of children and the day’s activities, the activity leaders will be able to take your child, BUT if they tell you that this is not possible, don’t take it as a personal attack – they’ll do their best to accommodate you, so stay cool, it’s the vacations and don’t insist…
Are babies and children counted in the number of people for accommodation?
The maximum capacity shown for our chalets includes all participants in the stay, including children and baby
Families are welcome here, so there’s no extra charge for children under 2 all season long.
Do you have a service for babies and toddlers?
We do our utmost to ensure that your vacation with baby goes as smoothly as possible.
Kit Baby: if you have been able to reserve your babycare equipment (chair, cot) in advance, everything will be in your accommodation on arrival.
Possibility of renting a bathtub, excluding Kit Baby.
Is your restaurant child- and baby-friendly?
Children’s menus are available on our restaurant menu.
A Baby Corner in the restaurant: Microwave and bottle warmer available free of charge.
ANIMATION
Are there any events throughout the season?
We offer entertainment in July and August from Sunday to Friday. Daytime and evenings.
2025 new, we’re offering entertainment in June every morning from Monday to Friday.
Animations in foreign languages?
All animations will be in French, as we have 3 French-speaking animators, and YES they will be translated by an animator of another nationality (Belgian/Dutch/English).

Do you have any special ADO evenings?
Our evenings are open to all, with bingo, dance parties, concerts, soccer tournaments, pool parties, wakes… However, we remain a family campsite, so no “techno boom-boom” parties for teenagers, or nightclubs. On Wednesdays and Mondays, the parties end around 11 p.m., otherwise at 10 p.m., the campsite becomes quiet again.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
How can I contact our customer service?
If, despite our best efforts to ensure your complete satisfaction, you have a complaint during your stay, we invite you to contact our reception staff. We will do our best to meet your expectations.
For any dispute that cannot be resolved on site, please contact our customer service department via our contact form. Our agents will then process your claim as quickly as possible.
In the event of a dispute not resolved by our customer service department, any campsite customer may refer the matter to a consumer ombudsman, within a maximum period of one year. More information on our Terms and Conditions.
ANIMALS
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are welcome! Pets are welcome on pitches and in some rental units (except Premium, LUXE and LIVING) for a daily fee payable at the time of booking.
There are a few rules, however:
- Pets must be kept on a leash
- be up to date with their vaccinations.
- rabies vaccination is compulsory.
- It is forbidden to leave an animal alone on a pitch, tied up or locked in a car or in a rental unit.
- The large field next to the Kenya tents is a play and entertainment area for the campsite children, not a dog mess area. There’s plenty of space around the campsite.
- When you arrive, you’ll be given a welcome kit for your adorable fur ball, so don’t hesitate to use the little bags provided.
- If you’d like to shower your faithful companion, there’s a shower in the upstairs bathroom. Please do not use any other shower than this one.
MISCELLANEOUS FAQS
What time can I get there?
For rentals:
– Arrivals from 4 pm and departures before 10 am.
– “Weekend” stays (except July-August): arrivals from 2 pm and departures before 10 am. If you wish, you can use the campsite facilities until the end of the day.
For pitches:
– Arrivals from 2 pm and departures before 12 pm.
LATE CHECKING: it’s possible
For late arrivals after 7.30pm, please contact the campsite on the day of your arrival and inform us of your arrival time. We will do our utmost to ensure that you can return to your pitch or rental accommodation.
How can I find out about your availability?

Indicate your desired vacation dates, the system will propose the accommodation or pitches available on the dates indicated or will make a counter-proposal with other dates if we have no more availability for the period indicated.
Are rentals equipped with air conditioning and heating?

Do rentals come with blankets?
All our rentals are equipped with blankets and pillows.
Bed linen can be provided for an additional charge.
For LUXURY and PREMIUM cottages, bed linen and towels are included in the price.
Is end-of-stay cleaning included in my booking?
End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the price of the stay EXCEPT for the Cottages LUXE.
When you leave, you are asked to:
– Clean your accommodation, bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace,
– Empty the fridge, defrost and clean it,
– Empty and take out the garbage cans,
– Wash the dishes,
– Clean the barbecue grill (present on some rentals) OR the plancha
– Lock up your accommodation and return the key to reception.
What if I want the end-of-stay cleaning option?
You can take out the “End of stay cleaning” option when you make your reservation, by ticking the paid option in the “Supplements” section.
If you opt for this supplement or if you stay in a Cottage LUXE, you will still be asked to:
– Empty your garbage cans and fridge,
– Wash up,
– Lock up your accommodation and return the key to reception.
Can I access the aquatic area without staying at the campsite?
Our aquatic areas are reserved exclusively for our customers. Thank you for your understanding.
What is the maximum capacity of my accommodation?
For rentals, the maximum capacity can be found on the description of each rental sheet.
For pitches, the maximum capacity is 6 people.
Do you accept visitors?
For security reasons, as well as for the comfort and space of our customers, we no longer accept visitors.
Do you have many foreigners at your campsite?
We can only say YES. Our beautiful region is popular with our neighbors. They’re looking for the same things you are – the charms of the Haute-Savoie and the peace and quiet. This mix of cultures creates a really nice, friendly atmosphere here.
Are you VACAF approved?
Unfortunately, no, the campsite is not VACAF approved.
